Any feedback good or bad from story telecom SIMple roaming sims?

Question:
Am going to Australia via Malaysia the week after next and need to get one of these sims, story looks the best deal, but just wary of them not providing the service. Anyone bought one, or any other roaming sim? I really don't want to give orange a penny towards roaming, and outgoing calls from Malaysia are almost £2 a minute!! Enough to give you a nosebleed!!
TIA
Answers:
dunno about story but i bought a sim from ( saw it on this website) & used it a lot over summer & since in diff countries & it was very good qwuality indeed!
only downside was it was a callback but then they most seem to be..
The upside thing about above sim was the automatic recharge when i wnt down to £5 credt left because it toppedup automatically and sent me confirmation text[s].

drek, of course you have seen it on this website - you have posted it yourself several times, as well as mostly about other S-F products. It's become a cliche for S-F fans to always comment on call quality as if by the same person, or no other company could manage it.
In fact S-F and Story are reselling exactly the same product, as are other resellers of the CallKey SIMs with Isle of Man numbers, so there isn't much difference in functionality, only the dealer's tariffs.
Davey, there are several int'l SIMs like this now, with a range of different numbers. The countries in which they have free incoming calls may vary in more unusual destinations, so it might be worth checking a few, as Malaysia isn't free incoming on the IoM SIMs.
Compare global SIMs, with links to network websites
I've used CallKey (bought from 0044) and United Mobile SIMs and am happy with both.
I notice that United Mobile has no coverage in Malaysia, while Travelsim (Estonia) and the IoM SIMs charge incoming calls, but 09 Mobile (Iceland) has free incoming. Of course these other country mobiles may be more expensive for people calling you.
If your main destination is Australia, I'd go for an IoM one like Story, or see also Geodesa which has had lower tariffs, though I have seen increases on all of these SIMs recently. Then people can use cheap calls providers like Call18185 to call you for 5p/min, 2p weekends.

I've plumped for the story telecom one purely because of the fact that it costs £25 and with it I get £25 credit. If the geodesa did the same deal then I would have probably gone for them, as it is the free credit thing is a big sway, and after all that is the reason I am buying it, to save money. Also I get a beautiful feeling knowing that orange will be having hardly any money from us whilst we are on our holidays, to think that if they hadn't pushed and pushed the tariffs up we'd be spending our money with them, and now they'll be getting a little bit of gprs when I text back to the uk using smsbug instead of the many tens of pounds we would have spent with them. I will post on here to let you all know how I get on with it when I get back from our month long adventure!
