Question:
I want to enlarge a functional location structure indicator, from:
XXXXXXXXX
010230405
to
XXXXXXXXXX
0102304005
(i.e. enlarging level 5 from XX to XXX)
The system documentation states clearly that:
"Once a functional location has been created for a particular structure
indicator, the edit mask can no longer be changed."
However I have done that change on our test machine and it seems to work
fine, but.... I fear to put it on our production system. Does anyone in this Forum have experience with any similar change ?

Answer:
I believe once it's created and used,it cannot be enlarged.
You could create a Functional Location for deletions and put the (not used) one's in there. This may or may not answer your question but I hope it helps.
