Question:
Hi,
How do I tie an existing inspection lot to an inspection plan in QA02? This is because I've generated an inspection lot without first creating a plan.

Answer:
Hi,
If you have created plan for th material, that is valid with respect to the lot size, valid from date of the plan and the start date of the lot, usage in the plan header matching with the insp type seeting (for GR it should be 5), status in the plan header matching with the inspection origin needs (for 01 it should be 4), when you process QA02, the system will look for the valid plan on its own and assign to the lot. After which you will be able to process the UD.
