Time of Order Reservation creation
Good day,
Please help me, I want to change the time of creation of reservations from order create to the time of order release. I have made changes in the following IMG object, but only succeded in changng the time of Preq creation.
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service> Maintenance and Service Processing> Maintenance and Service Orders> Functions and Settings for Order Types> Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation No. Interval
If this is possible where in the IMG can this change by done?

As far as I know, reservations are ALWAYS created when the order is saved - that can't be changed through configuration. However, the indicator you mentioned controls whether or not the reservation is represented as a true requirement within MRP. If you do NOT check the indicator, the reservation quantity will not be taken into account by MRP until the PM order is released.
Something else you can do is configure the order type so that purchase reqs and reservations are NEVER created. This can then be changed in the order itself, so the creation of these documents is controlled by the user. To do this, you'll need to make the changes outlined in OSS note #418429.
