Question:
Hi PP Gurus
We have a special sales order type for shipping returned stock back to a customer
However, when the delivery is goods issued the PIRs are reduced but we don't want this because we do not want this goods movement to reduce our PIR build plan.
Anyone know how to stop a movement type from reducing the PIR ?

Are you using strategy group 10 (Make to Stock)? Which movement type are you using to resend the material to customer?
Answer:
I have tested this using the standard movement type 601 which didn't work.
And then using a new new movement type which was a copy of 601 but with the consumption posting blank.
Yes the strategy group is 10.
