Hi All,
I wanted to activate the enhancements on notifications.
In Tcode IW22 Menupath GOTO-->ENHANCEMENTS-->ACTIVITY.
How it can be activated.
Moreover i have seen a user exit EXIT_SAPMIO0_017.
This exits says by using this we can transfer data from sap into user defined screens.
I would like to know more about this.
Could anyone help me in this regard.

Run TCode SMOD and enter QQM*. This will list all user-exits for notifcations. Be careful to choose the ones with PM/SM in the title (the others are for QM ONLY).
There is a radio button for viewing documentation. However, sometimes you will need to navigate to the function module to see the documentation (e.g. EXIT_SAPMIO0_017).
You will need to run TCode CMOD to activate these user-exits, but I suggest you leave that to the ABAP guys.
