SM Order Collective Availability Check
I am I losing it or is the only way that I can carry out an availability check on components is at time of release ? I have seen postings referring to PM user exits. Is this the only way ?
I would like to recheck the availability so that can update order status when previously missing parts are received.

Some clients opt to create a batch program to enter each released PM/CS order and perform a manual material availability check.
The program usually runs each night
