Urgent help in Upgradation
Hi ,
I was just placed in an upgradation project to 4.7 version. Unfortunately I don't have any upgradation experience in the past. So, can anyone please let me know what is the role of a PP/WM/PM guy in an upgradation project.
Just tell me like what are the general things to initially start with the project and give me some idea on documentation of transaction codes etc.

There are no secrets here. Your job is to test each and every single business process that is currently used at that company, and to run each and every ABAP report and Query they have (in your area).
You'll find that you'll get some dumps, and you'll have to work with OSS on those. You'll also find new transactions available or expanded (MIGO, MIRO, ME51N, and such), so you'll have to test those, write new scripts, and train the users.
That ought to keep you busy for a while....

Another thing to take in mind is the user exits's performance because some of those that are working in 4.6C does not work in 4.7 or superior.
Example: enhancement LMR1M001, function module EXIT_SAPLMR1M_004
