Question:
Dear guru,
Apparently, I've created a maintenance order in which maintenance order is created based on the notification created. Somehow, I will have to confirm the operations (IW44), then only perform TECO (Technically Complete). However, is it possible to confirm the operations, followed by setting Completion Flag to Notification, then only perform TECO for maintenance order??? Meaning that, TECO won't be allowed unless the Completion of Notification (assumed operations are confirmed already).
Normally, as we perform TECO, it will automatically complete the notification. Here, I would not allow TECO to be performed till the completion of the notification. Anyway to control it???

hello ,
you can use the customer exit at Technical Competion (IWO10009) to build the test you want. I did something similar (checking the notification status) at order release.
