Transfer of expired or near to expiry materail to block stoc
Hi,
How expired or near to expiry materials can be transferred to block stock. Is any standard program available for the same. it would impossible to search expired or near to expiry batches manually or transfer to block stock.

For this you have to have batch management active for the material.
You maintain shelf life expiration and minimum remaining shelf life in the Plant Data in the material master.
Use transaction MB5M (Batch monitoring list).
It will display list of materials that are getting expired in next specified days.

Do you have QM active? If you do, you can add inspection type 09 (recurring inspection of batches), then setup program RQAAAS10 to execute nightly in the background. If you set 'block batch at inspection date', the material will be transferred into blocked stock once the expiration date is reached.
