Preventive Maintenance with Counters
Hello,
I want to create a maintenance plan for an equipment that have associated a counter.
I could have a counter created with an annual activity (annual estimate). For example if I want to crate preventive maintenance for 500h, and then to 1000h, it would be ok because I would set the annual activity for 500h, and in every 500h the Maintenance Plan will create planned orders. My doubt is if I want my Maintenance Plan to create planned orders for 250h, 300h, 500h and 1000h, with only one single counter could I have this???
Or do I´ve to add other counters to my equipment???
Many thanks.
Inęs.
hi,
one counter is sufficient for the scenario you described....the annual counter reading is for the total expected run hours of the eqpt during the year..for generating plans at intervals of say 250, 500, 1000 hrs, etc you should create a maintenance strategy with the required packages. Create a task list with the required operations & assign the packages to the operations. Then create a plan, assign the counter and the task list and schedule it. The counter readings are to be updated regularly for generating the orders from the plan.
Good luck!
