Quality Certificate - Change in the functionality
Hello folks,
we have a requirement form our client. usually when the delivery is created and PGI is done the COA will be generated automatically and the results will be populated from the standard SAP tabels which holds the data.
For some legal reasons what the client wants is to populate the results from a custom table (Which will be created and has some extra tests which meets their legal requirments and this table they want to maintain manually) when a PGI is done for a delivery note.
Now my question would be is this viable in SAP?. Becuase I feel that we are deviating from the standard SAP process.
If it's possible how can it be done?. Is there any user exit available?.
An insight into this issue would be of great helpful to me.

As far as I know, this will create a lot of problems, in the sense a lot of configs, You are talking interface with what ever the system they keep the tables in. In fact, the system generates the info from the insp lot and/or from the del note/Sales order etc. I will go straight by the system availability unless they want to make it more complicated. Just advise them that this is the best possibility to generate the rsults from these two sources.
