Question:
We store all our empty containers in storage location 0003
We store all our maintenance/damaged empty containers in SL 0005
We cannot find a way of sending out maintenance product from 0005 to our plant that does our maintenance.
Does anyone know of a way of shipping from SL 0005 ?
Answer:
If you create a shiiping point for Sloc 0005 then you should be able to create delivery docs for that shipping point which based on the determination only finds Sloc 0005.

Im only an end user, not technical based.
95% of our empty containers come from 0003 so dont really want to change master data and effect our current processes just to get this to work ?
Answer:
The added shipping point will not affect the data you have now. The new shipping point will direct you to the Sloc for the damaged MT container so as to deliver them to you repair plant.
When configuration of the new shipping point is complete you will be able to create the orginal documents with the Sloc info and the delivery can be created for the shipping point and material and it will look at only the stock in that Sloc for the availability.
This should be done by someone with configuration experience.
