Question:
Dear All,
If We have ever used for transaction such as initial stock for material that batch management in material un-tick, and then we need change this material with tick batch management in material master purchasing view.
How to change it?

Answer:
Try it in MM02.
When SAP issues an error, at the same time you get a new button that allows you to read the error log.
There you see what causes the problem.
If you still have stock, then you have to bring it to zero, change the indicator and bring back the stock with a batch number.

I have search in forum before with key "batch" "Change batch" "Batch Management" but still didn't find.
Back to question. More explanation about this case. I have tried to change with MM02 and there is error message "stock already exist at plant", Actually
I heve cancel material document for Initial stock (it's mean stock is Zero).
Any other solution..

Try using MMBE to check whether stock exists in any plant existed or not. If yes, reverse your documents accordingly. If not, check whether u have any open tickets or not, PR or PO...

Hi,
Which stock report did you use?. Was it MMBE or MB52? Once you are still having the record in Table MARD, then it is for sure you are still having the stock quantity. Perhaps, check also if the stock was considered as previous period stock (you can see it directly in the material master).
