Hi to all
We have a scenario where our Purchase requisition must be released, based on the value, cost centre, work centre and material group. Once all the release prerequisites have been met, only then will the requisition be converted to a Purchase Order. If the value of the Purchase Order exceeds a certain value, the Procurement Manager must then release such a Purchase Order. (Check to see if all the tender requirements have been met)
We also use Contracts for Services and stock items. The problem that we encounter is changes that occur on the Contract, can only be identified after the fact. None of the role players who must be aware of the changes are in a position to approve the changes. (Release Strategy) We would like to use the release strategy for contracts, but the fields that needs to be maintained in the IMG for this has already been used for the Purchase Order. How can on configure the release strategy also to incorporate the Contract.

You should use the Document Type as part of the Release Characteristics for your Release Procedure.
