MM Masters
We wish to PREVENT deletion of PO item once PO history is generated (GR).
We wish to PREVENT it even when GR is reversed and PO item is brought to 0,0 state.
Can you pl. suggest how to go about it?

If GR is fully maintained, then you can set the message 06 115 into 'E' via Transaction OME0.

It works fine as long as GR is fully maintained and NOT when it is reversed/cancelled.
Is there any solution to Prevent Deletion of the PO item even if the material document is cancelled / reversed?

If this is the case, then the only possibility that I can recommend is to use the User Exit. BTW, why would you like to block your end user from deleting it since to me once GR is reversed, this PO line item is open and therefore, can be deleted. Perhaps, there should be some particular business requirement to justify your decision taking.

Yes, you are right. The business reqt -
The management has observed numerous occurances of GR reversal and then deletion of PO items and subsequent creation of fresh POs. They wish to exert control this way!
