Sapfans,
My company has many kind of material group MARA-MATKL. For example one material group has two different description (one description in germany and one descr in english). OMSF is able to cover this. But is it possible to display two different descriptions in MM03. My boss wants to see two different description in material master (MM03). Need your advise.

Hi Ch,
At first, in Transaction OMSF, there are two field called Description 1 (20 characters) and 2 (60 chars) with different purpose - short and long description. Once creating PR/PO via Enjoy Transaction, with F4 it is only possible for you to display 20 characters description. To display the remaining description 2, you have to apply one source code. Since I am away from SAP, I could not be able to tell you which OSS Note you should check. Anyhow, I will get back to you as soon as I am back to the office today.

Hi CH,
Go to Transaction Code MMZ2 .....Select view --Engineering/design
Go to Description ..Enter language and the Material Description .
For display in MM03 Go to Additional data ..you will find both the descriptions.
