Question:
hi Gurus.. i got a probelm..
When I am trying to post GR through MIGO from a known purchase order, i am getting error message " Postings only possible in periods 1998/03 and 1998/02 ". It has happened at my practice session . My system date is set to year 2002. So any body can please help me ?

Hi,
If appeared to me that you have not closed your own system since March 1998 !!!!!!. How did you use your system?. Anyhow, what you have to do is to close your period via Transaction MMPV. Mind you that this Transaction should be done once for each month ie. at first you will close your month of March 1998 and then close April 1998 and continue till August 2003.

Hi Tran.. i have done what ever you have suggested . The posting period prblem is sloved. Bt now i am facing new prblem. It's giving message Account detrmination for entry INT WRX not possible" what to do ? thanks

Hi,
The root cause of your problem originated from the fact that the G/L Account for GR/IR Clearing Account setting for Transaction Key WRX of Chart of Account INT has not been configured. What you have to do is to go to Transaction OBYC and select by double click on Transaction Key WRX where you have to maintain the specific G/L Account. Mind you, however, that the G/L team shall be involved since it is them who will confirm which exact G/L Account to be used.
