Dear all,
I am new to SAP WM module.
When I attempt to create a putaway transfer order in background based on a transfer requirement using transaction LB10, I receive the subject message
Transfer order must have at least one item
What is the meaning of the message and how can I configure the system to have it proceed?

I tried in the foreground using transaction LT04.
To have TO item generated I need to manually input the destination target quantity in the palletization screen. And then press putaway background button.

Sounds like you do not have the palletization data maintained in WM2 view of material master.

I then maintained the palletization data in WM2 view of the material master.
In the generate TO item screen of transaction LT04, I still cannot generate the item in background by selecting the 'putaway background' button. The SU field in palletization section of the screen is still blank. After inputting 1 in the SU field, the item can be generated in background.
How can I have the SU field determined in LT04?

what quantity do you want to transfer? What is the quantity of the TR ?
what did you maintain as palletization data in WM2 view of material master?
This SU field is usually calculated based on this info. I never needed to correct anything here, execpt where I have alternative palletization data and want use the alternative instead of the standard pallet.
