Question:
Hi Gurus,
I have some questions regarding PR release strategy.
1. I've configured strategy with classification (overall release). Noticed that strategy is still applied when line-item is deleted (Single line item in PR). How can I fix this problem?
2. Noticed that changes to price and quantity are blocked when strategy is already assigned to PR. Is it possible to allow changes .. strategy should reset after changes are applied.

I would assume that in the PR total value release characteristic (CEBAN-GFWRT) was set as >= Zero and once PR is edited, the 'Check' icon was not clicked. Besides, the release indicator was not set in the manner that the new release strategy determination is made.

This can be done if the 'Changeability' field of your release indicator was set ('6', for instance).

Thanks for your advise.

Initially total value characteristic was set to <= 2000, I've changed it to > 0.00 - 2000.00 USD. It works fine now. Thanks.

I've chosen "Changeable, new release in case of new strategy", but it does not work. I've also tried with another option "4. Changeable, new release in case of new strat. or val. change". PR still can't be changed once strategy is applied. The following are the available options for each release indicator.

1 Cannot be changed
2 Changeable, no new determination of strategy
3 Changeable, new release in case of new strategy
4 Changeable, new release in case of new strat. or val. change

What kind of change did you make for your own PR? was such maintenance change the value of the PR?. BTW, did you set any tolerance for the value change?.

Hi Ha Tran,
Requesters may make changes to quantity or value in PR. However, changes are blocked once strategy is applied. Anyway, I found a fix just now. It's actually controlled by combination of field selection ref key (FSRK)and changeability.
Initial value in FSRK was FZ01 - Release status 1. I changed it to ME52 and it works fine now. Changeability is still at "Changeable, new release in case of new strategy".
