Question:
For a material, I maintain different purchase prices in:
a. purchasing info record
b. quotation
c. contract
How do I get system to propose the lowest purchase price from the above, during PR ot PO creation?
Answer:
Hi,
At first, prices from quotation is to be updated automatically to info record (see OSS note 13127). During PR maintenance and if the 'Source of Determination' indicator is flagged, the system will pop up both info record and outline agreement price based on which you can make up your mind. Once PO is created with reference to PR and if there is not any source determination in the PR, then the price from info record will be automatically defaulted to the PO price regardless of PR price. However, it is possible that you can set up in your configuration so that price can be copied from PR into PO (check in OSS note 393367).
