Question:
Dear SAP Champs,
I am a SD consultant. I dont have a MM consultant at the moment with me. Please help me with this.
When I do GI from Sales and Distribution and GR from the Purchase order, it says posting only possible on 10/2002 and 11/2002.
Please tell me what should i do to close all these periods so that I can post GI and GR in todays date meaning 10/2003 11/2003.

Use MMPV to close period 9 so that u can do GR/GI in period 10 and 11.

First, close the earlier period by transaction MMPV for period 11/2002
and then initiatlise the period 11/2003 by transaction MMPI.

I meet the same question.
when i use MMPV to close period 09/2002,it should me the error info like blow:
The specified year 2002 is not the current calendar year
Message no. M3 489
Diagnosis
The year you have entered on the selection screen does not correspond to
the current fiscal year (for example, 94 instad of 1994).
Procedure
Check, and if necessary correct, your entry.
