Answer:
Hi
Check SAP notes 535803,400764,318529
Answer:
Hi Guys:
The first note is both informative and ridiculous at the same time, because it says that you sould place the material back from 916 to the Source Bin, and then cancel the delivery.
This is ridiculous, because without setting the picking status back to A/A, you cannot cancel the item, and this was one of the main benefits of LT0G to begin with.
Essetially, these notes explain that there are cases where LT0G does not work. The main case is if someone posted the material out of ST 916, before posting the Goods Issue.
At one point, VL09 (Reverse Goods Issue for Delivery) and then LT0G was not supported, but my experience has been that this is usually working fine.
For this reason, you should verify what is your Support Package Level, and apply all relevant OSS Notes for LT0G, up to the most recent ones.
I remember that there was an older OSS Note, which described the pre-LT0G SAP standard process for "unpicking" a delivery with WM. If anyone knows it, please post it in this Topic. I will also try to find it.
One thing that you can do is to create a manual "unpicking" TO, and then try to run report ZZDELSTA or RVDELSTA (which you can get from OSS Note #137011 or 506510).
I hope that this helps.

Hi,
I've had lots of painful experience with this. If the quant gets replaced with a new quant by extra movements batch status change etc, LT0G becomes a pain in the head.
I generally Goods Issue the delivery and then VL09 cancel the delivery.
This seems to sort it out and allow you unpick a batch.
It seems to happen to me on fridays when I'm going home. The warehouse rings to tell one batch has been pulled and they've already tried to move the stock back to a shelf or quality have changed the batch status
SAP help is very poor on the subject.

Hi Guys:
Ripley's experience is both honest and humorous, and it gives one solution to bybass the previously discussed limitations (restrictions) of LT0G.
Post Goods Issue in VL02N, and perform VL09, and finally LT0G.
This is confirmed from an old OSS Message that I found:
this is not a bug. After changing the quant on the 916 Storage Type,
it cannot be handled by LT0G anymore. LT0G reads the original TO and
looks for the destination quant, if this does not exist any more,
you cannot unpick the quantity.
There is only one situation where this is working, in the case of
the Goods Issue being cancelled. Then, LT0G does not look for the
quant but for the stock quantity. So you might be able to unpick by
posting a Goods Issue and cancelling it again. Otherwise, you have to
delete the delivery item and transport the stock back to the source bin
using LT01.
To this I responded, with much harsher words (I might add). How do I unpick the delivery, with picking status C/C??
I was then given the 2nd valuable (and undocumented) tip from SAP:
It IS possible to delete a delivery item with picking status C and
WM status C. You might get an error message like VL 019, but you can
set these messages to warning in the LE-SHP customizing. For batch
split items, you must first set the delivery qty to 0 in the item
detail screen. Afterwards you can delete the item. This was the normal
procedure before Release 4.5 when LT0G was introduced.
I hope that this helps. If any of you need additional help on how to perform the 2nd technique, please let me know.
Have Fun!!

Hello Again Good People:
Sorry to beat this to death, but it is an important topic,
if you've ever had to deal with it.
I found OSS Message #210272, which explains how
to unpick delivery items in a WM environment, if
LT0G, gives you the famous "Lock" Symbol.
One advantage of this over the Post Goods Issue/
Reverse Goods Issue Solution is that you will not
have posted 2 IM Goods Movements, and therefore
also 2 FI Documents.

I know how to resolve this one. Many people mistakenly try to approach this by trying to somehow "cancelling" the confirmed TO. It cannot be done. however, you CAN create an "offsetting" TO using LT01 to manually move the WM level inventory from the 916 storage type back to the original source bins. Then you can unpick and delete the delivery. it is a bit tedious to document here, but let me know if you want it, and I will send you an attachment with full documentation that I developed to unpick and dlete a confirmed WM delivery WITHOUT having to PGI it and the do VL09.

Hi MsTauffer:
I already explained exactly how to do it, and gave a relevant OSS note to refer to. However, this only works if you customize Message VL 019 as a Warning Message.
If you want to send me your documentation however, I would be glad to have a copy.

Hi Sackman,
Hope I did not sound arrogant in writing my own reply after you had answered it. i just wanted to see if anyone could use some infomal documentation. The attached will effectively:
1. Counter and offset the originally confirmed TO on a WM delivery (as it cannot be "cancelled" per se, but only offset).
2. Delete the WM delivery.
Best regards
Mike
