ME28 in 'inquiry' mode. Is it possible?
I'm trying to set a new release procedure for purchase orders.
What I'm looking for is a standard report that gives a list of the orders that are not released.
Basically it should be the same as ME28 in inquiry mode. The problem with ME28 is that once you get the list, you could also release the orders.
On the other hand, if a buyer is not authorized to a release code (auth. M_BANF_FRG) ME28 issues an error message.
It could be solved adding a lower release code in the release strategy, and authorizing the buyers to this 'lower' release code, but I don't like this solution.
The buyer could release its code... the next time the order won't be listed even if it's not completely released.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.
Hi Releaser,
What you can look at is to set up the simple query which links EKKO and EKPO Table. The release indicator in the EKKO table can tell you which PO is not released.

With me2k it is possible to be looked for the orders not even
released, in the button of optional boundaries in head data, group of
liberation to find those that belong to the approving one.
To only see the purcharse order.

Thank you all for the useful answers.
I think I'll follow the HT advice, ME2k seems to be not so much user-friendly.
