hai all
I am trying to set the release group in QMGS for release of an RFQ.
I am getting the error "Please check release classes (see long text)". this "i" is not allowing me to save the release group .What should i check?

In customising, in purchase requisition, go in "procedure with classification". There, you define characteristics, then classes and after can set up the procedure with classification.

I am referring to an particular error in setting the release group for RFQ.
the path is material mgt-->rfq/quotation-->release procedure for rfq-->define release proc for rfq.
I want to get over the error I am getting.

This problem occurs when you tried to maintain two different Release Group for the same Release Class.

I have two classes rel_rfq & rel_po for a class type 032.
In groups i already have a group RG ="PH " rel object =2, calss="rel_po",
now when i create a new entry for class rel_rfq" i get this error.
The 2 classes r different , then why the error?

Diagnosis
Here you can assign release groups to release classes. Only one release class should be used within the release groups for overall release and the release groups without overall release in each case. However, in this instance several release classes have been used.
Procedure
Assign the release groups that were created for overall release to one release class only. Assign the release groups that were not created for overall release to a different release class.
Example:
Rel. group Rel. obj. Overall rel. Class Description
01 1 _ FRG_EBAN Group 01
02 1 _ FRG_EBAN Group 02
S1 1 X FRG_GF_EBAN Group S1
S2 1 X FRG_GF_EBAN Group S2
In your particular scenario, it is of my interpretation that you were trying to use two Release Class (one for RFQ and one for PO) with two different Release Group and therefore, it can not be acceptable since we have only got one PO Release Type.
