I need to know the functional flow to Obslete old materials. Can any one from you help me and tell me the transaction OR functional flow for obslete old materials.

Hi Priya,
In material master Basic one view there is a field called X-Plant Matl Status... Here you can assign material status which will block the inventory postings and purchase dpends up on the status profile... and for Sales go to sales 1 view Dchain -Spec status and validity to take care of sales transactions...
Transaction OVSU for Sales status and OMS4 for MM status...

Hi Priya,
As the matter of fact, the Obsolete items are those with slow stock movement during a certain pre-defined period of time. From the FI/CO point of view, these items shall be determined for proper depreciation in the balance sheet. Subject to the local company's policy, the baseline for calculation of such slow movement refers to either last GR date or last GI date.
You can look at Transaction MC46 with regard to this slow-moving report.
