Iam trying to post stocks thru MB1C
I get error ..Possible only in periods 2004/08 and 2004/07
what is the correct entry in transction mmpv .. that will help me post in current period.

When i enter the period 09 2004 , system says mtl exist in storage loc with negative stocks .
what do i need to nulify the same .

You should know what to do, as you must have done some steps to allow negative stocks, because this is not the standard setting in SAP.
You need to receive material, or you need to cancel goods issues. Certainly you need to analyze why you got negative stocks.
You can accept to have negative stocks while closing the period with MMPV, for this you need to set the indicator in the boxes for negative quantities and/ values.
