Question:
Hi,
i have a question about pricing date control.
How does it work?
For an Info-Record it is set to '2' (delivery date) and copied when i create an order.
I created a PO with a delivery date let's say yesterday, and changed the PB00 condition price (validity date from today), i was expecting that if i do my GR, there would be a new price determination for my PO item, but it is not the case!!!!
How is it working ?
what is the difference between '2' and '5' princing date control?

Hi Gunterdd,
Usually, the Pricing Date Category is to be used for price determination (pricing) purposes. This is usually linked with the automatic pricing redetermination subject to how you are going to set in this field. The system will, at that time, check the validity period of the pricing element with the date (delivery date or GR date) that you have specified in this field for pricing revaluation. Basically, the difference between 'GR date' and 'Delivery Date' option is that in respect of GR date, a new price will be determined upon the arrival of the goods, causing the items to be revaluated at that time whereas in respect of Delivery Date which you have selected as the date for pricing determination and the items contains several delivery date (ie. has a delivery schedule), then the first delivery date (the delivery date specified in the first schedule line) is taken.

In my case there is only one schedule line, so if the pricing date ctrl is '2', the price redetermination should take the date of this schedule line (so today).Am i wrong?

Hi Gunterdd,
Since the 'Delivery Date' option was selected and the delivery date of your PO line item is set as 'Yesterday', the system will look at the pricing determination of yesterday and since the validity period of your PB00 is as of today, no pricing element will be found.

sorry in my 1st text, i made a mistake:
I created a PO and changed the PB00 condition yesterday (new validity date from today and condition value).
Delivery date is today, price date control is '2', GR today, but no price redetermination on my PO!!!

Check the following settings for me -
1) Go to condition record for base condition PB00 and change the validity period from today to yesterday.
2) If no price determination is seen, go to 'Analysis' pushbutton of the Item Condition of the PO where you can view the details of the pricing calculation schema. Check why no price is copied from base condition into PO.
Let me know the result.

Hi HT,
I went to condition record for base condition PB00 and change the validity period from today to yesterday (the value is 300 eur).
=> no price determination is seen (in my pO, PB00=200 EUR), went to 'Analysis' pushbutton of the Item Condition of the PO where you can view the details of the pricing calculation schema.
as for pB00: 'PB00 Gross Price 208 Condition record has been found ', doubleclick, if i check the record, it is for 300 eur!
I don't understand what's going on!!!!

Hi Gunterdd,
The only reason that I can think of at this moment is either you have not updated the change you have made in your base condition PB00 in your PO and that's why the PO price is still showing 200 EUR instead of 300 EUR or you have had some supplementary conditions which were maintained together with your base condition (which I believed is of low probability). What you have to do then is go back to your PO and branch to 'Item Condition' tab page where you should click on 'Update' pushbutton. When the next screen appears, click on 'Carry out new pricing' ('B' option).

if i carry out new pricing, my PB00 record condition is uptaded indeed (300 euro), but i can't do that manually for each of my POs.
