Question:
Dear experts,
can I restrict the ATP check at sales order level to certain storage locations of a plant in case i grouped them to one MRP area?
My idea is to enter a storage location included in the MRP area in SO and to tick the 'storage location check deactivated' indicator in the checking rule.
I then hope that SAP autonatically check the ATP at MRP areal level and not on plant level.
Can anyone confirm that I am right?

Do you know whether the MRP area can be activated in the material master via mass change MM17?
To my understanding we just have to
-create 2 MRP areas (one that contains the storage locations relevant for the ATP check and a second with the storage locations not relevant for ATP).
-set the MRP active indicator in the material master and assign the MRP areas to every material master ecord.
-change the checking rule of teh availability check by ticking the 'not check storage location indicator'
Please let me know, if I forgot anything. Unfortunately I don't have a system here for testing.
