dear experts,
I'd like to set the next posting period to start from 2004.11.04 and we set this date in MMPV, but it doesn't work! Can anybody tell me how to do it right way?

Answer:
Two things you may want to look at. First make sure the date format is correct when opening this period.
Also take note that all previous periods must be closed prior to opening the October Period. So as a test example:
If you have this error: Incorrect period in control rec. of CoCd XXXX; no conversion The current period (month/year) of the control record is 03 2004.
You must first post 03 2004, then 04 2004 then 05 2004 manually prior to opening your specific date.
Without additional information it will be difficult to help.
