Is there a standard report available for PO release strategy outside ME28 where list of unapproved PO with release code can be extracted

You can use ME2N List display for purchase order by number.
there you have the option of dynamic selections.
the purchasing document header has the fields. Add them by double click to your slection.

Yes by doing dynamic modification you could filter out based on Release Grp,Release Srategy,Release Status etc but not based on Release Code
The requirement is to extract based on Release Code i.e all POS awaiting aproval from those Release code
I know ME28 will give the list based on Release Code but we want a report outside ME28

Such business requirement should not be met through the standard report. Therefore, the ABAP program should be developed.
