Question:
Hi sappers,
I have made po for specfic material. I have done gr for that material.
but when i see on stock report ,i found only stock qty but not value.
when i see material master price control is 's'.
some expert said that valuation type is not maintain, some said that valuation type is not customised for that type of material.I am confused...
can any one help me for that problem ?

The lowest level at which valuation of stock can take place in SAP is the plant level. Go to MB5B. Enter the material and plant.
Under the sub heading stock type, check valuated stock.
Perform F5.
See if you are able to see the valuation.
In the report set the sum against the columns 'quantity' and 'Amt. in loc. cur.' and sub total against the column 'SLoc'

In the accounting view of the material, the field valuation category determines if you have activated split valuation for the material. When you use split valuation you'll find possibly different valuation types for the material in the system. You need to activate the split valuation in customizing as well.
For the valuation of the material itself: you say it has a standard price.
Did you check that the standard price is different from zero?

Check in OMS2. Check if value update is checked for that material type at a particular plant.

Alternatively go to MM03 for the material, and look in the accounting view 1. You can see the toal stock and its value there.
