Question:
Hi, I have a little problem with MRP run. In material I have V1 MRP type and EX lot-size calculation type. I have several reservation on different dates. When I run MRP, it creates 1 PR on ONE date - relevant to the date of first reservation, and the quantity is relevant to all of my reservations.
delivery time = 0 day, GR processing time = 0 day
order point = 1200
Example: MRP date = 1.07.2004
1.07.2004 - Current stock = 1000
3.07.2004 - reservation 1 = 100
4.07.2004 - reservation 2 = 200
7.07.2004 - reservation 3 = 300
it creates PR dated 4.07.2004, quantity = 400, but I need 2 reservations,
4.07.2004, quant = 100, 7.07.2004, q = 300.

Dear Clarus,
You will get 400 on 04.07.2004 since u have selecte EX as lot sizing.the difference of 1200 (ROP) and current stock as on 04.07 is 800.System will give u a procurement qty. of 400. being the diff. between 1200 and 800. you can edit the PR on 04.07 and can make it to 100. And, if you run MRP again on 07.07.2004 and you will get another PR for 300 as desired by you.

We really want to have several PR on dififrent dates with diffirent quantities in automatic mode without hand replanning. If you know, how to do it, help me please...

We think about it, but for it's not very good idea for our Production and Purchasing. Any other ideas ?
