Hi
I am working on 4.7 Enterprise. I want to map STO process for Storage location to Storage location transfer. As per SAP note, this is possible in 4.7 onwards. also there is configuration for this set up. But how to map this. Can anybody give me some idea.

Hi,
In standard SAP feature, the stock transfer can be made between two storage locations of the same plant and you can find it out in the on-line help documentation.

Thnaks for your reply. I know about stock transfer within plant. In my case I am looking for a process where SD delivery and shipping should involve in this STO for Storage location to Storage location transfer.

This feature is a new developement within SAP R/3 Enterprise Ext. Set 2.00.

In Ergänzung der Umlagerungsbestellung zwischen Werken, e rmöglicht dieser Prozeß eine
Umlagerungsbestellung zwischen Lagerorten bei gleichzeitigem Anschluss an die SD -Lieferung.
Die entsprechenden Bedarfe werden dispositiv berücksichtigt.
Business Value
Bislang waren interne Nachschub- und Versorgungsbeziehungen auf Werke beschränkt. In
Organisationen, in denen sich die Versorgungsbeziehungen oft ändern, weil z.B. sich die Lokation
oft ändert, ist das Organisationselement „Werk“ nicht das Rtige Element, um diese Beziehungen
abzubilden. Die Abbildung wird außerdem erschwert, wenn die Anzahl der Lokationen 4 stellige
Nummernbereiche überschreiten. Durch die Umlagerungsbestellung zwischen Lagerorten werden
folgende Vorteile deutlich:
· Flexible Abbildung von Versorgungsbeziehungen zwischen Lagerorten
· Erstellung von Versandpapieren zur Transportbegleitung
· Vereinfachung des logistischen Ablaufs
· Reduzierung des Bearbeitungs- und Buchungsaufwandes
· Erhöhung der Prozessintegration
Description
Der abgebende und empfangende Lagerort wird in der Bestellanforderung bzw. Uml agerungsbestellung
festgelegt. Der abgebende Lagerort wird in der Disposition und in der Bestands führung
bei der Liefererstellung und bei der Warenausgangsbuchung berücksichtigt.
Anhand des abgebenden Lagerortes ist auch die Ermittlung einer anderen Lief erart durch das
Customizing möglich.
Im einzelnen werden folgende Funktionen unterstützt:
· Die Umlagerung innerhalb eines Werkes (d.h. zwischen Lagerorten) mittels Planauftr ägen,
Bestellanforderungen und Lieferplaneinteilungen ist möglich. Beim manuellen A nlegen von
Planaufträgen oder beim Erstellen von Planaufträgen, Bestellanforderungen,
Lieferplaneinteilungen im Bedarfsplanungslauf kann ein abgebender Lagerort mitgeg eben
bzw. per Badi ermittelt werden.
· Die erzeugten Abrufelemente sind im zugehörigen Dispobereich angelegt. Die Abrufe
werden z.B. in der aktuellen Bedarfs-/Bestandsliste im Rtigen Dispobereich angezeigt.
· Beim Anlegen/Ändern/Löschen der Bestellvorschläge wird im Rtigen abgebenden
Dispobereich eine Planungsvormerkung gesetzt.

The delivering stock location becomes in the arrangement and in the existence guidance during the supplier position and during the goods despatched posting considers. On the basis the delivering stock location is also the determination of another ran erart by the customizing possible.
In detail the following functions are supported:
· The relocation within a work (i.e. between stock locations) by means of Planauftr, purchase order requests and delivery scheduling ägen are possible.
