how would i able to identify if the material in GR is for stock or non-stock.

Hi,
There have been different options to be alternatively selected -
1) Based upon the material ID as in most cases, the stock items have had the material number while non-stock items do not have.
2) The account assignment category
3) The storage location.

Within the MIGO transaction you will not get a storage location field in the Where tab if the material is not for stock.
further you will see an account in the accounting tab, an account is not shown if the material is for stock.
