Question:
Hi Friends,
While maintaining delivery schedule ME38 for scheduling Agreement , i have come across a problem. It gives me an error message Source list required.
When i checked the material master source list is activated and the source is also maintained for the material which is also valid.
Why does it give me an error when all the settings are correct. or is it that Delivery schedule for Scheduling Agreement cannot be maintained if the source list is active.
Can someone suggest me some methods of handling this situation.

Just to cross-check, in source list for the material have you put any agreement & item ?
If yes , is it the same number for which you are trying to maintain delivery schedules ?

The soruce list was created without any agreement reference.

Hi,
It is a must that once the 'source list' indicator is flagged in the material master, the source list must be maintained and any purchasing document to be created (PO, for instance) shall be referencing to this source list.
As the result, once you have created your scheduling agreement, it is required that such scheduling agreement shall be maintained in your source list which will, thereafter, enable you to maintain the delivery schedule.
