Our purchasing department need to issue PO for one of our subsidiary.
We would like these POs have no MRP effect so that it will not affect our MRP plan. How can we did it?

We use MRP Type PD. We would like to issue the POs for our subsidiary which is not net off the requirement from our production order.

Hi Elaine,
Have you actually tested in your system? With PD setting, the external requirement will not be taken into consideration during planning.

Maybe my bad English cannot express well.
The case is like this:
We issue a PO to purchase 100PC material A for our subsidiary.
At the same time, in our factory there is a production order issued requires 50PC of material A and right time we have zero stocks.
At this moment, we expect a PR with 50PC of material A will be triggered by MRP run. But the PO for subsidiary absored the requirement and no PR come out.
Now, we would like to make the PO for our subsidiary has no effect on our own requirement. How can we do that.
