Reservation created with a S.Loc that is not supported
Hi
This scenario happens every now and then in only one of our business units/company codes.
The users create a reservation successfully. However, when you want to display the reservation via MB23 - SAP gives system message M7 146 "Storage Location xxx not supported (please check your entry)".
The reservation exists in table RESB - with the Sloc that "doesn't exists in SAP".
Reservation was manually created with movement type 201. Different users creates these reservations (... not users specific ).
The storage location 'xxx' does not exist in config. We have to create the storage location in our development system - transport to production - delete the reservation - and then remove the config from production again.
Can anyone help us/guide us where to look - as this is a big frustration for us.
Thanks
I already get M7146 when creating a reservation via MB21.
For what movement type do you create a reservation? What is your release?
Hi Svetja
Movement type 201
SAP Release 45B
The storage location does not exists in OX09.
Also, M7 146 does not exit in transaction OMCQ in our system.
Regards
Can it be that this storage location was existend in moment of MB21 and got deleted ?
Can you create a reservation with a non-existent storage location right now?
M7146 is a kind of generic message, means text is not always the same, OMCQ has only static messages. And M7146 is not in my OMCQ, too.
I have not found any OSS note about such problem.
If nobody else has an idea and your answers are No for the first question and Yes for the second, then you may need to open a OSS message yourself.
No, the storage location didn't exist when reservation was created.
I also get message M7146 when trying to duplicate the scenario/create reservation.
I does not make any sense?!
Please let me know if anyone has ANY ideas of what might be the root cause of this problem. It is very frustrating.
Thanks.
