I wanted to create a material with reference to an other material belonging to different plant. is there any way to create the same thro mass maintenance. waiting for u r kind reply at the earliest.

thanx for u r kind reply. but still i am not clear what u say. I use MM17 T.Code. I have chosen Data records to be created tab. how do I create a material master with reference to an other material in MM17.
For Example:
100470100 is created in plant 1010.
but i want to extend the following material in 1800 thro mass maintenance.
100582369
100470200
100500300 etc.,

I think that the mass maintenance function is limited to changing values in the master record, not extending them.

I had the same question. I looked into MM17 and couldn't see how you can extend the material to other plants. I think you may only be able to change the data in existing fields.
Anyone else know for sure?
