Question:
Is it true that the ME59 only work for PR with Material Item? I created the PR (Cost Center) and I was not able to pull out this PR in ME59.
Answer:
In vendor master you need to set a flag for AUTO PO, and in material master you need to set as well a flag for AUTO PO.
And only if both flags are set, then SAP can automatically create a PO.
If you have no material master, then you have not such AUTO PO flag for the item you want procure, hence an AUTO PO cant be created.
Means ME59 works only for requisitions with material number.
Answer:
For Material Procurement it works very fine.
Pls advise how to go about procurement of service through Auto PO as there is no Auto PO tick available in Service master.
