Question:
When working with hazard materials, do I need Warehouse Management,
is the material to be created with a special material type, if so which one.
How does hazard material work in the SAP system?
Could any one help me please?
Answer:
You don't need WM as far as I know, and depending on which version you have it will either give you minimum or quite decent info.
I run 45B and the Haz info is poor, but I've seen 46 and it looks a lot better.
What version are you on?
What sort of hazard? Flammability, Corrosive etc.
UNNO's and Packing Groups.
Storage Classes (3A, 6.1B etc) sometimes called LGK's
