Hi
Can anyone offer any tips on using cycle counting in 4.0B? The documentation stinks. One of the issues we have is as follows: the plant wants to cycle count once per month. When we generate the phys inv documents for a month, we get one physical inventory document for each planned count date. So you might get 30 physical inventory docs, with the same material (but not necessarily the same batch) on several (if you received that material several times in the past month). Any way to combine all of the planned counts on fewer documents (I know we're limited to 333 items per document)? Any other information or insights you can offer? Thanks.

Answer:
Usually the documents are splitted by plant and storage location, means you get a new document for each location in your selection.
If you use the sorting in the lower section on MICN, and tick the flag for new document on change then system does it according to your criterias.
How do you manage it to get one document per date?
