Question:
Raw material has a GR processing time of 2 day2.
Delivery is always scheduled by MRP for 2 days before requirement
Then if you put a planning calendar (Lot size PK) to deliver on a wednesday MRP schedule the delivery to be 2 days before the wednesday
Any ideas how to change the calculation so that the planning calendar is applied AFTER the GR processing time rather than before?

I would not logically know why you have had such specific requirement. Let assume that on the 10/08 the end user would need a bearing to fix the coal mill as the regular mechanical maintenance schedule. Since it will take two days for the warehouse to make the qualitative inspection prior to officially receipting the shipment into the warehouse (ie. GR is posted two days after the arrival of the shipment), it is logical that the shipment should be arriving at the warehouse on 08/08 so that on 10/08 the warehouse staff can do GI to the end user for direct consumption.
If you would like to change the way SAP is functioning at present, it is true that there will be a lot of complaints from end users that they can not get what they order on time.
Anyhow, I would assume that there was some particular reason that would lead to this requirement.

In more details:
My supplier delivers only on Wednesdays so my lot size is PK on MRP1 view and I put a planning calendar for Wednesdays. GR processing time is 2 days.
I need a material on Thursday 7th August
What SAP does: planning calendar will schedule the delivery for wednesday 6th august and then minus 2 days GR processing, delivery will be on the 4th August which is a Monday not a wednesday
What I want to happen:
Material needed on Thursday 7th but 2days GR processing time so material needed on Tuesday the 5th. Planning calendar tells me supplier only delivery on wednesday so delivery should be scheduled by MRP for Wednesday the 30th July.

Hi,
Why don't you change the GR Processing Time into 1 day instead of 2 days? Is it true to say that it will physically take two days for you to complete the goods inspection and receipting?. If it is the fact that you will need two days for goods inspection, then shipment must be delivered on Tuesday so that on Thursday, you can issue to your end users. Therefore, you have to discuss further with your vendor to meet this requirement. In case it is not possible to request your vendor to deliver on time, then you have to reduce your GR processing time.
