Question:
Hi gurus,
is there a way for making only some material groups accettable in PR-PO or contracts position if the ITEM CATEGORY is "SERVICES"??
Because we have many people that makes PR or PO for service putting for example material groups "compressors" or "Electrical cables".
I would like in this case they could only use something like "Catering" or "Notarial advices" and so on.
We are on 46.C HP 17

Check in User Exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_017 where you should look at ZXM06U42 for item category validation.

Thanks for the immediate reply but i can't find this user exit in my sistem.
I searched for it with CMOD.
We are on 46.C HP 17.
Which could be the reason?

Hi Freak,
Check in SMOD Transaction with the selection of MM06E005 as the Enhancement. Otherwise, go to SE37 and check EXIT_SAPMM06E_017.
