Question:
Hi Friends
I try to create the contract and enter the price after entering the material number and the quantity. But when i save it, it does not get copied into PB00 when I go in to item conditions. Can anyone, give me a clue as to what could be the reason. I checked up it is not due to authorization.

Answer:
Conditions in contracts are master conditions. This means that any price you enter in the contract should be PBXX not PB00. PBXX is the gross price as entered. PB00 is the price as calculated by the system as a result of master conditions. So, when you save the contract and create a PO with reference to the contract, the price determined by the system in the PO will be PB00.

Thanks for your valuable time in responding to my querry. I will redefine the problem once again. When I create a contract and enter the net price and go to item conditions, by default , the system is supposed to copy the price into PB00 which does not happen. When I come back to item overvew screen, the system copies zero value as there is no value in the PB00 codition. I am not able to figure it out as to why this is not happening. when I manually enter in the PB00 (item condition) , it is OK. But the system is supposed to copy the value automatically into PB00 when we enter the net price in the item overview screen. Hope I am able to explain the problem better. Expecting your comments on this
