Hi SAP experts,
I need your expert advice to solve the problem. I have a sales order for a material for which there is enough stock available. This I checked through MMBE and also the CO09 transactions. The quantity need to be shipped to the customer is only 28 each and quantity available is 379 each. The delivery date is today 12/31/2002. Still the system is not able to confirm this quantity for 28 each for 12/31/2002 or even for future delivery dates. I checked even the open sales orders (due for delivery). There is only one sales order for a quantity of 10 each which is due for delivery to a different customer. This shows there is still enough stock available to promise but still system is unable to confirm the quantity for 28 each for this material in a sales order.
When I did the item availability check in the sales order, the system is showing that there is no enough quantity available to confirm, but in MMBE stock overview and CO09 transactions, system is showing there is enough stock available.
Please help how this problem can be solved.

Answer:
When you check availability in the sales order, check the scope of check. Your material may be in a status that is not recognized by the checking rule.
