Question:
Hi All,
I am on 2.2E and currently having problem with the MD02 (MRP run). My problem is the proces gets stuck for hours at times and I have to unclock it. It happens everyday. I dont want to unlock it all the time.
Does anybody have a clue for me please?

can you elaborate your probelm because it is not clear.MD03 is meant for single item single level whereas you have indicated as MD02.

Thanks for the reply and correction. Yes you are right, it is MD03. Thanks. But now it is ok already and another problem comes up now with Total Planning-MRP Run (MD01) in background at 4PM. We check it everymorning and found today it gets stuck for several times. I cant run it. I have spend this whole day just for checking and trying to rectify it with no luck.
Another story, if this total MRP run is unsuccesfull, user can not process MRP with either MD02 or MD03. Therefore, I have to unlock it and MD02/MD03 can be processed.
Shanmugham, I got job log as follows for running total MRP:
"The planning run for plant ID01 has already been started ". This log tells me to unlock it and I have followed this procedure. But I do not want to unlock it all the time.
For your reference, the inputs for MD01 are:
Plant ID01
Processing key NETCH
Create purchase req. 2
Delivery schedules 3
Create MRP list 1
Planning mode 1
Scheduling 2
Be frank, I am not familiar with the MRP process, would you tell me please:
1. Can I run MRP simultaneously? One run MD02, and others run MD01.
2. What should I do to resolve this problem?
