Pricing Procedure - Accounting key Vs Accrual

Question:
Hi,
Can anybody explain, in the pricing procedure, the role of Accounting Key (ActKy) and Accruals (Accrls) ?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Mangesh
Answer:
Any views on this will be really appreciated.....!!
Answer:
hi,
these are the transaction/event keys which give you an option to post amount to a distinguished account. as soon as you create this key it gets reflected in OBYC and you can configure the accounts.
suppose you want to record the freight charges seperately then use the key FRE assign freight acc. use accrul key FR1 and set the same account which will act as a clearing entry for FRE.

Answer:
Hi Galaxy,
Thanks for the reply. But can you please let me know why for a condition only the accrual key is assigned and not the actKy (atleast I haven't seen). Can both ActKy and Accrls be assigned to a condition in pricing procudure?
Thanks again,
Mangesh
Answer:
hi,
Accruals means which accumulates over a time period. For statistical analysis of certain condition type like freight we maintain it as accrual in control data of the condition type. as soon as we mark it as accrual it is posted to an account for statistical analysis and for that we set a transaction/event key and assign account.
the value of this condition type is not included in net price calculation.
