Removal of SU-managed material from Bulk Storage
I have so far only worked with warehouses where batch determination is done in the delivery and passed to WM. In the current implementation they want to use Storage Unit managment and Bulk Storage. When deliveries are created they want the warehouse operators to pick the storage unit from the top of the bulk pile and enter that SU number into the Transfer Order. The TO would then update the Delivery with the batches from the SU information.
From the documentation it looks like this is possible with bulk storage and storage unit management except I can not get the delivery items to be warehouse relevant ( relevant for picking and WM transfer order required.) The delivery wants me to enter a batch before the item is warehouse relevant.
Does anyone have this working? What controls what is warehouse relevant or not?
The delivery item category is set for picking. The storage type has putaway Strategy "B" for bulk; Picking Strategy is FIFO.
Again, the system works when I specify the batch in the delivery but that defeats the purpose of having the warehouse pick whats "on top".

OK, I traced the problem to a Userexit where someone was doing some custom changes. I disabled their changes and was able to create a TO without adding batches. Everything seems to be working....
