Bar Code Interface with SAP
We are leading switchgear manufacturing idustry and implemented SAP 4.6B with core modules SD,PP,MM,QM & FI/CO. Now we are in process of implementing Bar coding solution for our Finished Goods i.e receipt of material in FG store and dispatch from FG store. Is there any std. interface available in SAP, which talks to external Bar coding solution. To be more clear, process of stock updation at the time of material receipt in FG from production(311 movement) and PGI (post goods issue) at the time of dispatch from FG store need to be automated with Bar coding solution.
have anyone done this before ?
